Jack Welch says it best, "Change has no constituency and a perceived revolution has even less."
Whether it is TODAY's job search or TODAY's business environment change is present - change in the organization, change in the individuals, and changes in the old attitudes are required. Change is painful, but in TODAY's environment not changing is more painful and can even lead to death. Are you up to the challenge?
The same old approach no longer works today; you need an UPproach!
Today Social Networking has taken over the way both jobs and new business is found. Actually and idealling the jobs and new business must find you. This puts you in the driver's seat for negotiations.
What stands between most organizations and individuals obtaining the desired organizational, project, and/or personal success is the reluctance to change; the same primary mindset and skill required to move forward.
Change is uncomfortable for individuals and when an organization must change it is even worse because individual change is a key component and most, if not all, individuals will be required to change.
I facilitate the organizational change required to implement new technologies, new business processes, revised marketing focus, comply with Federal and State mandates, and redefine businesses.
I facilitate individual change by helping the individual identify the skills that are transferable to new opportunities and those that can make them more valuable to employers. Redefining oneself is a critical skill in today's job market. The top 10 jobs in 2010 will not have existed in 2004. Redefinition is the key to continued growth and development.
Success coaching is about attaining the things you desire and deserve by making the necessary changes to your actions and attitudes. I assist individuals and organizations through this difficult process. Contact me and see how I can help you and/or your organization.

What picture do you present to recruiters and hiring managers?
Today's job search requires that you become your own Chief Marketing Officer and top salesperson. If you can't market and sell yourself; no one can do it for you. I can help you develop the tools.
The job market is tough so I teach individuals how to modernize and adapt to the new processes through better resumes, social networking, creating a networking focus, and developing a personal brand.
I am an avid reader of business and self-help books and I recommend that you become one as well. Some of my recent reads and recommendations include "Me 2.0" by Dan Schawbel, "Make People Like You in 90 Seconds" and How to Connect in Business in 90 Seconds or Less" by Nicholas Boothman, and "Made to Stick" by Chip and Dan Heath.
Previously I have recommended "Click" by George Frazier; "Never Eat Alone" by Keith Ferrazzi; "4 Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferris; "What Got You Here, Won't Get You There" by Marshall Goldsmith; "The Art of the Start" by Guy Kawasaki and "U R a Brand" by Catherine Kaputa.
These books are all great reads to prepare you for today's constantly changing work landscape.
