I am completing a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as the sophomore class writing instructor at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Baltimore, MD. I help sophomores develop their writing skills and aid in their writing assignments for various classes. I also help with science lab, SAT preparation, tutoring, and after school activities.

I will be seeking full-time employment in August of 2010.

I graduated from Villanova University in December, 2008 with a B.A. in Communication, specializing in Organizational Communication. I also received a Business Minor via the Summer Business Institute at Villanova.

From September 2008 to April 2009, I held a part-time internship (20-30 hours per week) with Buchanan Public Relations in Ardmore, PA. At Buchanan PR, I broadened my knowledge of public relations through writing press releases, organizing events, and pitching stories to different media on behalf of various clients including large, global corporations, regional businesses, closely-held ventures, and non-profit organizations.

During the summer of 2008, I interned with the B2B Team at Brodeur Partners in Boston, MA, a worldwide public relations agency part of the Omnicom Group. At Brodeur Partners, I gained invaluable experience and exposure in the public relations field. I researched and analyzed new business; obtained, analyzed, and pitched potential editorial opportunities for current accounts; and compiled media lists and editorial calendars for management.

In the summer of 2006, I interned with MFS Investment Management on the Sales Reporting Team in Boston, helping with daily, weekly, and monthly reports and compiling a list of potential investors for targeting.
