I live for, and thrive, on the web. Online since the mid-90s, and contributing to digital content ever since, I've shifted interest through the years from front-end web programming to back-end, and now focus almost exclusively on new media, social media and the various components of them.
I spend a lot of my free time wandering around the web seeking out new content, exciting changes or new platforms and services - all of which I use to make my digital, web-oriented lifestyle easier, more enjoyable, more efficient or more flexible.
I love meeting new people, particularly those who share my interest in the web space or who are looking to learn about it and embrace it on either a personal or professional level.

I founded WPBTM in Januwary 2009 because I was tired of seeing developers bill for a full hour of time when projects often took only a few minutes to complete.
As project manager, I work with clients directly to determine their website needs, provide them with estimates and then either do development work or co-ordinate with developers and other designers to get the project completed.

I've been helping with the virtual side of the PodCamp Toronto unconference since early 2008 along with organizing the highly regarded Mentor Lounge.
PodCamp Toronto is a free "unconference" bringing together professionals and hobbyists from Toronto and the surrounding area to explore the cutting edge of new and social media.
In 2009, the event hosted more than 600 people.

I work with individuals and small businesses toe help them learn what this new media space entails and how they can use it. This includes facets of blogging, podcasting, video podcasting and social networking. I' help develop a strategy and direction and work with my clients, and often other partners, to execute it.

October 2006 — May 2008 (1 year 8 months)
As the community developer for TalkShoe.com, I worked daily with new and established users ensuring people were using and enjoying the site, and try to make certain that we’re meeting their needs, and heading in the right direction. This often entailed a large number of emails, phone calls and IM messages, along with keeping up with people through social networks and message boards.
