Although my path to a career in software development was not a direct one, it is definitely my calling now. I have had the good fortune to work with many talented people and work on some fantastic projects over the last 15 years. In the past I worked on web applications, mobile/tablet pc solutions, and smart client software. As I have worked more as a team lead and architect I have become more involved in ALM tools such as Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server. Using these tools I have worked with several clients to adopt the Agile process Scrum in a practical way. I continue to work in the .NET developer community as one of the organizers of the devLink Technical Conference, as a past officer and current board member of the Nashville .NET User Group, and as a frequent speaker at local technology groups and regional conferences.
