Summary

I help digitally challenged companies understand their digital marketing options and show them how they can integrate digital into their traditional marketing to convert more customers. When I'm not doing that I write for Advertising Age Magazine, various digital and social media blogs and in October 2013, my first book, The Invisible Sale will publish. #ivs4charity Tour(Link)

#ivs4charity is an innovative twist on the standard book tour.

To announce my new book, The Invisible Sale, I’m crafted a barnstorming tour across the central, eastern and southern United States. Over the course of 10 days, I’ll visit and co-host 10 #ivs4charity cocktail, networking events to raise awareness of the book and much needed funds for local charities.

I each city, I partnered with DoubleTree Hotels, a few good friends and their favorite charities. Together, we invited consumers to join us to have cocktails for a cause.

50% of ticket sales were donated to each local charity and in many cities the DoubleTree Hotel bar donated between 20% and 50% of the bar tab to the charity too.

Insight & Information shouldn't just be the privilege of those that have the money and size to afford it. There are smart marketers in every shop in the country and they deserve access to great insight. Even better, if we could find a way to share the costs, a Insight & Information department could even field primary studies designed to answer compelling questions that we all deal with daily. The big boys routinely do it, package it and sell it during new business pitches. Why shouldn't we smaller guys have the same chance?
