I believe in thinking small and acting locally. I embrace the concept that all you need for success can be found within your own four walls. I strongly advocate taking care of your internal customers – your employees – so they can become your marketing ambassadors. The path to success is the one that affords you the most influence, costs you the least, and offers the biggest payoff: your employees.

Prior to being a consultant to Fortune 500 companies for the past 26 years, I served as senior vice president for an international, billion-dollar advertising agency, Bozell Advertising. As Ray Kroc’s disciple, I began my career with McDonald’s, rising up to become a senior-level executive. Additionally, I am the founder of the Neighborhood Marketing Institute®.

I've had the honor of sharing the stage with fantastic people such as President George H.W. Bush, Barbara Bush, Larry King, Terry Bradshaw, Lou Holtz, General Colin Powell, Deepak Chopra, Rudy Guiliani, Art Linkletter, General H. Nroma Schwarzkopf, Jr., Dr. Wayne Dyer, Brian Tracy, and former CEO of McDonald's Ed Rensi.
