• Successfully delivered projects on schedule, while managing of up to 9 simultaneous development & maintenance release programs.
• Performed double duty by also covering the previous role for 3 months before a replacement was available.
• Managed a team of 17 software development and quality assurance engineers. Also out sourced resources for development, QA, & headset & car kit interoperability testing.
• Coordinated with 4 external vendors (Broadcom, CSR, Microsoft, & ESI/iAnywhere) who provided different chipsets, firmware, drivers, & stacks.
• Coordinated industry certification for Bluetooth logo use on products, as well as acceptance testing for cell phone carriers.

• Launched a software update to provide Enterprise Security for Wi-Fi on the T|X. This included internal development which leveraged the use of a vendor supplicant.

• Coordinated with 5 external vendors (Murata / SyChip, Marvell, CSR, Devicescape, and Lower Crossings) who provided modules, chipsets, firmware, and supplicant.
• Monitored the investigation and implementation of Wi-Fi & Bluetooth coexistence using a single shared antenna & utilizing an overlapping radio frequency band.
• Investigated new technology & requirements for development of VoWi-Fi (VoIP over WiFi).
