Founded in 1998, Tomas Frenes Design Studio began as an entrepreneurial launch. After Tomas’ 12-year tenure with Gianni Versace, where he advanced as the Assistant General Director, he made a decision to fulfill his long time dream. Through the hard work, perseverance, and capabilities of a determined furniture designer; Tomas Frenes Design Studio has become one of the fastest growing furniture design firms around. As a result, our headquarters is located in the Miami Design District, and our furniture line can be found throughtout the nation.
Gianni Versace is one of Tomas’ role models, being a leader in his genera. Working closely with Gianni Versace taught Tomas much of what it takes to be a leader in his endeavors. Gianni Versace always told Tomas “never be afraid to be different in your designs”; to date this is what makes Tomas’ line so unique.
Inspirations such as Bauhaus, Art Deco, Modern Style and his Latin roots add linear lines, warmth and pizzazz to his collection. Most of the material Tomas uses in the collection are oak with an ebonized stain with various shades and tones of fabric.
