Strategic Human Capital Management
Eugene, Oregon Area
I have devoted my professional life to the HRMS industry specializing in consulting. I have been involved through all phases of HRMS from initial automation of manual processes to more strategic projects dealing with Performance, Comp, and Talent. I have studied the various vendors in the space and understand their strengths and weakness relative to functionality, delivery, sales channels, vision, marketplace, price and total cost of ownership.
After deciding in 1993 to make my job at ADP a career in HRMS I went on to become accredited as a Payroll Professional through the APA and a Human Resources Professional through HRCI. My time is now spent in helping my clients understand the HR, Time and Attendance, Recruiting, and payroll applications for thier needs and within thier budget.

I founded this company after having worked for Sage and with several of the resellers and found that I could consolidate several vendors (Spectrum HR, Ascentis, Best Abra etc.) and present this to the market in a "brokerage" model.
It had not been done before for any length of time but we had great relationships with our customers and vendors and a reputation for honesty that made the business work even in its first quarter in operation.

Helped roll out the Esource product (web native) HRMS ASP environment. Ceridian was going from client Server to Web and I was evangelizing the Web environment.

I was part of the short lived direct sales force selling the enterprise version of the web HRMS environment. When Sage acquired Best in 2000 they slowly phased out the direct sales force (Sage doesn't have direct sales people) before I left I managed some of the more sophisticated VARs in the West. When the Direct force was laid off I was the last person in the West to go and accounted for 11% of the company's total sales of the Enterprise HRMS product.
