My professional background is in acute-sector healthcare. I have a wide range of both clinical and operational emergency management experience encompassing emergency medicine, critical care, primary care and public health; in hospital, emergency services, industrial, maritime and event medicine settings. I also have experience in resuscitation training, research, project-based working and healthcare IT.
My interest in consoldating my operational emergency management experience has led me to commencing an MSc in emergency planning management, supplemented with local and national workshops, specialist courses at the Emergency Planning College and multi-agency exercises spanning all levels of incident command..
