    During my tenure there, Boo fixed its back-end system, managed to launch a site that seemed unlaunchable within 10 weeks of my arrival due to strong project management. However, I was not able to convince the CEO that the front end needed to be redone.

    I was also instrumental in hiring a new CTO for the company and working on general technology strategy.

    I was instrumental in the launch of Metaphoria DTS 1.1, the first java-based application server, at JavaOne and the subsequent spinoff of the company from its parent.

    Helped rewrite business plan and prepare the company for sale. The Metaphoria unit was sold to Information Architects, and the consulting unit was sold to The Formula Group.

    Responsible for the acquisition of JARS, which was the leading competitor to Gamelan.

    Note: EarthWeb went public on NASDAQ based on the plan I had designed for them during my tenure there. The properties I had built for Earthweb were sold to Internet.com in December 2000.

    Had full P&L responsibilities for the site, and managed to bring it to profitability.

    Note: The company changed its name to JupiterMedia and stock symbol to JUPM.
