The Colorado market was 'test' market for this new model, including remote/home-office based Title Sales Professionals, 'close-anywhere' mobile closings, the merging of the Presenter (closer) and the Account Manager (sales / marketing rep), a high-commission/low base pay combination, enhanced training, exemplary IT infrastructure and support, increased opportunities for business development and market share growth, and the recruiting of a 'new model' team from both within and without the industry (Title).
This position, and much of the New Frontier initiative(s) were eradicated with the acquisition by Fidelity of LandAmerica's 2 underwriters - Lawyers Title and Commonwealth Title. (Jan. '09)
