Trainer / Instructional Designer / Learning Consultant. "If I don't learn something new every day, I'm wasting my time."
United States
Training, learning, and instructional design professional since 1984, with extensive experience in high-tech R&D and manufacturing environments, the banking/finance industry, and independent consulting.
I seek to improve organizational success through human performance improvement, including training, education, performance support, and just-enough, just-in-time access to resources and performance feedback.
Experience has taught me that while training may be an integral part of the solution, it is rarely the ONLY solution to human performance challenges. The resulting "total solution" need not be as intimidating (or expensive!) as it sounds, as long as it adequately targets the root cause(s).
Instructional design (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation); needs analysis; performance analysis; master instructor and train-the-trainer expertise; team facilitation; program evaluation; quality measures and standards for instruction and learning interventions; management and leadership development.
