TJay Belt’s Summary

TJay Belt is a Database Administrator for Authorize.net / Cybersource. He has studied computer science at BYU and developed in and administered databases his entire career. TJay has used SQL Server versions 7, 2000, 2005 and 2008 since 1998, and has been a DBA for 4 1/2 years. TJay has enjoyed delivering presentations for Microsoft, Affiliated Computer Services, and local SQL Server User groups. He is the founder and PASS chapter leader of the Utah County SQL Server user group.

In 2004, he attended his first conference for the Professional Assiciation for SQL Server. Since then, he volunteers as a Chapter learer for PASS, regional mentor for PASS chapters, PASS Chapter Committe, founder of the Auditing & Compliance Special Interest Group with PASS.

TJay truly enjoys working with and administering database, and his real passion lies in creating solutions.

When he is not at work playing with databases, he enjoys competing in racquetball tournaments, and playing as much racquetball as possible. When it warms up, you'll find him riding his dirtbike. When it heats up, he'll be out on the lake waterskiing and boating. Otherwise, he'll be at home with his family, or his church responsibilities.
