Management:
My experience includes coaching and leading teams to improve performance, limit turnover and strengthen internal and external communication. I have handled all HR activities for my teams, including hiring, training, promoting, disciplining, firing, and managing layoffs. I also have experience creating & monitoring performance based incentive and bonus programs. I don’t believe in micromanaging, however, I do emphasize the importance of accountability and teamwork. Creative:
I have extensive experience in the creative direction & production of projects including: identity, brochures, displays, ad campaigns, websites, newsletters, magazines, pop displays, packaging, digital stories, film projects, etc. I am a skilled designer and proficient in Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Studio and more. I have worked side by side with my team on many occasions to get projects completed under tight deadlines. I have successfully managed production environments with 20 to 100+ projects in production and implemented quality control system and project tracking systems.
Marketing & PR:
I have experience developing marketing plans, programs and promotions for start-ups and existing companies – including lifestyle & luxury brands. My experience has focused on creating plans that are realistic and meet the goals and budget requirements of the company / product line. I always try to ensure that the marketing, pr, sales and creative efforts are in alignment. I have created co-op, spiff, partner/affiliate, referral and loyalty programs for wholesale & retail customers. My PR experience includes using strong communication skills to define and capitalize on media opportunities, as well as producing & editing copy for press releases, articles, white papers, campaigns, websites, etc.
Significant experience in marketing, use of social media and social networks, sales, creative and operations. Strong leadership, team building, change management, process improvement and organizational development skills. Responsible for all HR issues, management and team building for department staff which included an art director, production manager, copy writer, 5 graphic designers and several freelancers. Successfully implemented a production process to increase productivity and accuracy of all projects moving through the department.
