Tim is a Training Specialist for Direct Alliance Corporation, prior to joining the team at DAC, he had found success in the building component industry.
In his spare time he is an accomplished public speaker, an award winning leader, an amateur photographer, a former stand up comic (trust me…he is a much better trainer than he ever was as a comic), an avid Boston Red Sox fan and the “poster child” for having some of the finest golf equipment money can buy (and yet he still struggles to break 95).
Though originally from Maine, Tim lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for several years. In 2000, he finally came to his senses and, realizing that you don’t have to shovel sunshine, he moved to sunny (and very warm) Chandler, Arizona. No, he doesn’t miss the change of seasons or shoveling snow…

Under limited supervision and working with subject matter experts, this position assesses training needs, designs training, and delivers training to all levels of DAC employees to improve individual and team performance. Combining sales knowledge and adult learning theory, this position is responsible for fully owning training and consulting projects from concept to delivery and measurement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides consistent and uniform delivery of training and testing for front-line employees, supervisors, and executives in conjunction with scheduling allowances. Considered a "master trainer" and will excel in all delivery techniques and the application of adult learning theory. Responsible for consulting with staff on the quality of all classroom instruction delivered by the department.
- Leads the initiative in determining needs assessment; including writing the assessment, deciding on the format, conducting the assessment andinterpreting the results. Consultswith clients, DAC end users, staff, management, and executives. Assists with prioritizing projects and developing departmental strategy.
- Leads the initiative to design and create high quality training lesson plans, materials, and curriculum. Provides leadership and guidance to Training staff in the development of training curriculum, classroom material and documentation. Acts as a consultant on the quality and integrity of all curriculum produced by the department.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximize employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

The governing body of Toastmasters International is The Board of Directors. Currently, 23 members serve on the Board of Directors. Five members serve as Officers, and 18 members serve as Directors, with each of the Directors serving two years (making half of the seats open for election each year). Sixteen of the Directors are nominated from the eight geographic Regions in the United States and Canada and two Directors are elected from Districts not assigned to a Region.
As a member of the Board of Directors, I have been elected for the purpose of guiding the corporation along policy lines in the
areas of education, administration, and growth. Such policies are broad and long-range and are administered on a day-to-day basis by the World Headquarters staff.
