Tim Schneider’s Education

  • Wichita State University

    BSEE , Electical Engineering , 19841988

During this time I also worked as an intern for a 9 month co-op education program. I was employed in a rotation at Beech Aircraft in Wichita KS. I worked for 3 months in flight test on the all composite Beech Starship program. In that capacity I wrote a custom database on the PC to manage engineering change orders with respect to FAA certification tests.

I spent 3 months in a structural test group (again on the Starship program) Ran finite element analysis software on the DEC/VAX and microVAX systems Data reduction and programming in FORTRAN to compare measured strain guage test data to computer simulations.

The final 3 months were spent in a guidance and control systems group at the Beechcraft Missle Systems Division in Andover, KS. There I ran simulations in matrix X. Hardware design improvement for fuel shutoff control circuitry project (did the design and lab testing)

Sr. project was a multiprocessor DSP system implemented with 8085 cpu's
