I have 3 years experience in professional design, which primarily includes graphic, web, and computer-aided design. Within academia, I studied architecture during the last 3 years of my undergraduate studies, bringing my total design exposure to 6 years. My tools of the trade include Adobe's Creative Suite, HTML/CSS, AutoCAD, InDesign, and the MS Office Suite. A quick adopter of new technologies and techniques, I can self-teach the skills necessary to complete any project. I am an extremely efficient person who seeks greater responsibility and creative control over a firm’s image. An ideal position for me would be a working environment with high levels of critical interaction with other designers and/or programmers, and projects which require multi-dimensional thinking.

The Architecture program was such a time-consuming experience, but in terms of elevating my understanding of design principles, it was well worth it. Many nights and weekends were spent on my projects, but we took comfort in knowing that it was the same for others. I've never felt more time pressure than I did during the remaining couple weeks of each quarter when we all had to wrap up our designs and start final production of our drawings and models.

UW Dean's List (8X) - Honestly, this doesn't mean crap since all you need in an academic quarter is a 3.5GPA or above, and you're automatically on the list.
