Senior Manager at Pfizer
Allentown, Pennsylvania Area
As a technology manager my focus is on human health and animal health product strategic initiatives, typically at the global level. I enjoy responsibility for developing technologies to meet business objectives in the areas of anti-counterfeiting, patient safety, serialization and RFID for Pfizer worldwide. One of my greatest strengths lies in an ability to facilitate development and adoption of a new technology on a global scale while effectively managing interdependent strategies. I have a great track record of meeting timelines and budgets also.
My role is somewhat unique at Pfizer. I am paid to take the "deep dive" into any possible technology without the non-value added red tape present at some other big pharma companies. I have enormous freedom to collaborate and consult with my peers in the industry, even direct competitors all in promotion of Pfizer and increasing the safety of the pharmaceuticals we make.
It is a noble cause but it is also very exciting and I thoroughly enjoy the challenges.
RFID is one of my core competencies and I am considered one of Pfizer's experts on the technology and its applications in pharmaceuticals.
Technical project management is where the majority of my experience resides and I have managed many projects on a global scale to Pfizer's satisfaction.
I also have a great deal of experience in anti-counterfeiting, the problem, the technology solutions, the use and the effectiveness of methods and strategies to combat counterfeiting.
