CEO at Timons.com
London, United Kingdom
Timon is honourable, intelligent and competent displaying an easy-going nature and an extremely hands-on approach. A dynamic and charming host, he enlivens social events with personality, panache and generosity of character.
Currently seeking projects and full time work, he contracts with various organisations. Timon is now producing private events, cabarets and a fashion show in London, as well as occasional website design.
At the beginning of 2008 Timon was curator to a major exhibition, AmoraLondon.com, the world's first state-of-the-art touch-technology-driven visitor attraction about Love and Sexuality, marking a natural progression towards greater mainstream appreciation of sexuality and the erotic, before returning to concentrate on his first literary passion, The Erotic Review.
As an agile and perceptive communicator he has thus far enjoyed a varied and interesting career, most recently in the publishing industry. Timon is looking to build on his business and journalism experience, actively seeking opportunities in the worlds of writing, media and show business.
Adaptable to many scenarios, from shop floor to boardroom, possessing a quick & creative mind; Timon is an innovative solution finder, able to take varied projects from conception through to completion under tight deadlines and to agreed budgets.
He very much enjoys public presentation being a natural debater, performer and orator. Articulate with well turned phraseology, Timon has great presence and authority when speaking on almost any given subject.
Producing copy to order, he is an insightful writer with a nose for a good story well told. He has varied broadcast experience in television & radio ranging from interviews to literature and to 'expert' opinion. Most recently interviewed as an expert on modern sexuality for channel five's Generation Sex series, to air later this year.

(Publishing industry)
August 2004 — September 2008 (4 years 2 months)
Through three different publishing houses (see below) over four years I took ER from a dysfunctional subscription only periodical on the verge of collapse to a quarterly and then monthly title with UK and international distribution and from solely independent stores to a pride of place position between the Literary Review and Spectator on the shelves of WHSmiths nationally.
I was only able to do this by quickly recognising the need to take the printing of the title not just out of the UK but in fact to the far east, slashing by more than half the cost of our print run.
Once bought back by its founders in 2007 I did a stint as Erotic Editor for Penthouse (UK) before returning to ER as Associate Editor to try and aid in its development back from shelf-based glamour to cerebral and elitist online / subscription based title.
