Tim Null’s Summary
I am an experienced writer, editor, and humorist. I focus on the development and promotion of my own online publications.
I worked as a Technical Editor for over twenty years, and have written an influential blog about entertainment since August 2004 (focusing mainly on Indie music).
My next project will be an online episodic fictional series called Harry & Olive: Their True Adventures. I hope to begin a beta release in the summer of 2008. The economic model is to create an online audience, then sell stories in PDF, book, and other formats; much as people read comics in the newspaper, then later purchase the same comics in book, calendar, and other formats.
Additionally, I am looking for (a) other venues to publish my personal writing, (b) make personal appearances in the SF Bay area, and (c) find associates/partners interested in joining with me in developing online publishing and performance opportunities.
Also, I have worked with LaTeX, HTML, and PDF. I do my own graphic and photo work. I have been successful promoting my projects online though venues such as Myspace, but because of personality quirks, I am less successful promoting projects in person.
