Entrepreneur and Community Builder - Co-founder at Made From New Zealand
New Zealand
I'm a Web and Social Entrepreneur who builds online communities that make action all over the world. I see decentralizing power as the number 1 key for the human race to truly evolve and get in sync with the larger natural world, so we live sustainable lives.
To achieve this, I focus on making the small strong. Whether this be individuals in a mass, small businesses in a corporate controlled marketplace, or a small country in a super power centric global economy - I build communities that unite the small into powerful sustainable movements.
A big part of the first stage in this journey for me is helping make it easy for entrepreneurs to grow their small businesses and run them across the world on the web. I have founded, self funded and co-invested in the development of several online business tools and online communities in the areas of business, health and sustainable transport and run a successful web and consultancy business for many years.
I am currently an owner and co-founder or partner in the following ventures:
* Online Business Plan Tool: PlanHQ - http://www.planhq.com

We get more people cycling by running competitions where businesses compete with / challenge each other to get the most staff cycling to work. While all the cycling is done on the ground, we run the challenge online and everyone logs their cycling trips in an open community where people can motivate each other. We've run challenges in the UK and NZ, and will continue to take this around the world, reducing pollution, increasing health of people and reducing energy usage.
We focus on creating lasting change - people continuing to cycle.
