I was born in Den Haag, Holland and have lived in Nigeria ('66 to '72) and in Jakarta Indonesia ('72 to '76). In '76 our family immigrated to the USA. We now reside in Charleston, SC. As a family we enjoy travelling a great deal, are involved w/ a wide array of sports, as well as with variuos local business organizations. I am a member of Rotary International, the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Registered Architects, and am Vice President of the Daniel Island Business Association. I am currently a Director of Design, East Cooper Div. withDolphin Architects & Builders, and am responsible for designing high end custom homes along the Carolina coast. I am also a licensed home builder. My specialties are in the design of multi family dwellings such as condominiums as well as retail and office buildings.
My specialties are in the design of high end custom homes, making physical study models, specification writing, detailing, and client relations and marketing. Another strong attribute of mine is providing clients w/ a preliminary project cost estimate so we know early on in the program whether we are on target or not.
