A web developer and part time unix administrator bootstrapping a company by moonlight.
Java with Hibernate and combinations of Spring, Struts, and Tapestry have been the tools of choice at the day job. When corporate standards aren't an issue, TurboGears and Ruby on Rails have served me well since 2004/2005.
The focus of my past work includes applications to support network administration, LDAP/application integration, web single sign on, and general business process automation.
My company is bringing web applications to small/medium businesses and non-profit organizations. We think that the rapid development time available with Python will allow us to provide solutions to small organizations while meeting their more modest price point when compared to larger businesses.
Rapid and iterative application development with TurboGears (Python) and Ruby on Rails.

This was by far the best part time job I ever held. I opened mail on the weekends for a great rate while also getting tuition reimbursement. I was always impressed at how well we were treated even though we were all part time mail room employees.
