I work as the Chief Information Officer and a Solution Architect for Parative who are infrastructure migration specialists.
We are the number one migration company in the UK and we provide end to end migration solutions for companies going to Microsoft technology platforms such as Exchange 2010 for email, and Windows 2008 Server R2 for authentication. We provide everything from the target Microsoft AD & Exchange design, the Migration design, as well as implementing the migration phase from start to finish, all under certified PRINCE2 project management.
We can migrate companies from any existing systems such as Novell NDS, NT4, Windows 2000/2003 and for email, Lotus Notes, IBM Groupwise, Exchange 5.5/2000/2003/2007.
I have worked across most industries including insurance, banking / finance, central government, local government and health services, as well as working for many international business and companies based in Europe.
My role as CIO is to look at new technologies in the IT industry and see how these can be developed and adapted into solutions for many of the common IT problems that we see on client sites.
With a background as a Solutions Architect for Microsoft and Quest products as well as multiple Virtualisation platforms, my goal for this year is to create a package of solutions to help businesses lower their running costs for their IT services, while still being able to deliver new technologies to make their companies more agile in the current markets.
