Timedesk is project desk for VillageTalk, a creative network of forward thinking people looking for alternative ways to coach the African Cheetah generation about how to connect their community to the Internet and create a sustainable business model to move into the 21st century without leaning on charity and development aid.

In an earlier life I worked for a number of travel agents and tour operators and a brief period at the Radison SAS Hotel in Amsterdam before I started my own hotel reservation service. I was representative for LRI Hotel reservations, until it is was bought by UTELL and pioneerd Landlink, a dynamic packaging system created by Jetset tours in the pre- internet era. I have now switched career and concentrate microblogging and related technology.

Het doel is niet de uitkering, maar het scheppen van ruimte om daar zo snel mogelijk van af te komen. Andernemend Nederland helpt instanties positief om te gaan met ideeen die mensen zelf hebben voor hun toekomst, iets wat nu niet vanzelfsprekend is.

Dit onderstreept de noodzaak van andernemerschap, een status die als een soort groene zone de basis legt voor een goede presentatie, aan zowel uitkerings instanties als werkgevers of opdrachtgevers. Het doel is tenslotte niet het krijgen van een uitkering, maar het scheppen van ruimte om daar zo snel mogelijk van af te komen.

Uitganspunt is dat andernemers, binnen de wettelijke kaders, de regie in eigen hand nemen in plaats van genoegen te nemen met niet altijd zinvolle standaard dienstverlening en daarmee zelf invulling geven aan het overheidsstreven naar maatwerk in arbeidsmarkt beleid.

Many last years ideas are now beeing turned into real projects and Eric has started setting up the backoffice.
