I'm a specialist in exploiting social software, Enterprise 2.0 and open source tools to make information flow better - helping people work together more effectively making the work environment less toxic, and helping organisations engage with their customers in new and innovative ways.
I've got experience of running projects to build systems in a wide range of sectors, and specialise in translating business requirements into technical specs - then creating great user experiences. I speak both management and geek fluently and bring sense to acronym soups. Given the choice, I'm a fan of open-source software, but I'm equally at home with traditional corporate technology. I've got an MBA and am a certified project manager (but don't hold those against me). When I'm not working I take photographs and blog far too irregularly at www.adoptioncurve.net.
My technology skills include a variety of open-source and proprietary Web 2.0 technology, and experience of making APIs and tools such as weblogs, wikis, RSS, mashups and a variety of web-based cleverness work in commercial environments.
