I have been studying and working full time for the past seven years in Dunedin as I originally travelled down from Auckland/Tauranga to study. While in Dunedin I have been fortunate to have met, worked with, and mentored by four of the cities top business people: John Farry, Tony Clear, Peter Taylor, and Stuart McLauchlan. I have since gone on to be involved in many different business and community groups in Dunedin and the wider Otago Region. I will be finishing off my last year of my Otago MBA in 2009 where I will then be able to work full time on my own business and property interests while remaining based in Dunedin.

MBA, Business Administration, 2007 — 2009 (expected)
The Otago MBA is New Zealands highest ranked MBA, it is in the top 3 in Australasia, and the top 100 in the world (out of over 30,000 MBA courses). I was fortunate to be accepted into this prestigious course as at 23 years old I had only just received the required real life business experience of five years. I am honored to follow such successful business people as Graeme Hart (billionaire owner of Carter Holt Harvey, Burns Philip, etc) and Theresa Gattung (CEO of Telecom New Zealand) who have completed an Otago MBA.
M Entr, Entrepreneurship, 2006 — 2007
The Master of Entrepreneurship course was in it's forth year when I was accepted. This is a revolutionary university course as it largely deals with the practical development of high growth startup businesses. Everyone accepted in this course was activity working on their company with the clear expectation of going global. In this course I was fortunate to meet a range of very talented business owners, many of which I am currently working on businesses with. This course introduced us to many inspiring entrepreneurial guest speakers as well as accountants, lawyers, venture capitalists, and other successful business people.
B Com, Management, Accounting, 2002 — 2006
I studied a wide range of business subjects in my first year which included Legal Studies, Business Law, Economics, Computer Science, Accounting, and Management. I intended to complete a minor in Economics under a Bachelor of Arts but moved on to my Masters early. It was in these early years when I got a taste for property as I purchased my first property at the age of 18 and operated it as an International Students boarding hostel. I was very focused on my Rugby career for the first three years in Dunedin up until I could no longer afford the intense practise time required to compete with the other professional players.
1997 — 2001
St Peter's School, Cambridge, was a very enjoyable 5 years of my personal growth set in a beautiful rural, boarding environment. Over this time I was introduced to my first experience with management and leadership at both student and staff levels of sporting, academic and administration. As a Head Prefect I was invited to join both the Hamilton City and Waipa District Youth Councils' where I received my first insight into how larger organisations operate. Academically I excelled in Business Studies and Mathematics.
