Tim Bones’s Summary

Since 2007 I have been the Programme Leader of the Graphic Design BA (Hons) top-up degree at West Kent College (University of Kent). I also teach on the HND Graphic Design and FdA Foundation & Textiles programmes. I have until recently, been an on-line tutor and developer of online learning materials for the HE diploma in Graphic Design for the Interactive Design Institute, Edinburgh.

I have worked within a wide variety of studio environments and interrelated design disciplines including: advertising, publishing, illustration, print and web. In addition to being employed as a designer, I have–in recent years–pursued a concurrent career as a design educator and educational consultant, working in both further and higher education.
