My positions have included Visiting Lecturer at Indiana University-Bloomington, Department of Telecommunications, and previously, Assistant Professor, Department of Communication with Denison University, Visiting Assistant Professor with the University of Arizona, Department of Media Arts, and Instructor with Northwestern University. I am now in a long-term position at Old Dominion University in the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts.

My areas of expertise have been comprehensive and include mass media curriculum development and adaptation, writing and publication on mass media development (particularly popular music), and the numerous classroom issues involved in Web 2.0 technologies such as blogging, wikis, podcasting, etc.
