Tiffany Winbush, an independent communications consultant, most recently served as the Public Relations Specialist for Katz Media Group, the nation’s leading full-service media sales and marketing firm serving the broadcasting industry. A subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, Katz provides services for more than 3,000 radio stations and 400 television stations world-wide.
As the PR Specialist for Katz Media, Tiffany coordinated and implemented public relations activities including pitching media and securing news coverage, developing press materials and arranging media interviews and press tours. Tiffany prides herself on the solid relationships she’s established with various media outlets and her colleagues in the PR field. Her expertise also includes integrating social media strategies with traditional media campaigns through the use of blogs, Twitter and Facebook Fan Pages.
Tiffany attended Louisiana State University Shreveport and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. In addition to Tiffany’s professional interests, she is active in a number of community organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a community serve-based organization founded in 1913 and serves as a board member for Manhattan’s Community Board #1. Tiffany also mentors high-school girls and is a member of the Public Relations Society of NY’s New Professionals committee.
