I write to large, diverse audiences about career advancement, generations in the workplace, HR, management, the job search, personal branding, productivity, time management, marketing, entrepreneurship, owning a small business, and more. I also do PR and media relations consulting work, along with a multitude of other corporate communications functions. Luckily, being strategic is one of my top strengths, so public relations and corporate communications is a great fit for me.
I’m also passionate about defining the lines of professionalism, integrity and authenticity in our new media world. I write about this and other career and new media-related topics at my blog, Personal PR. You can also read my writing at Conversation Agent, Personal Branding Magazine, Damsels in Success, Employee Evolution and Movin’ On Up – The Express Personnel Job Blog.
Currently, I’m finishing up my master’s degree in journalism. My six years of experience range from non-profit to corporate, and I’ve worked and written for a Fortune 500 company, an international missions organization, volunteer groups, university organizations, newspapers and start-up businesses.
I also speak about professional development and am in leadership for professional organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America.
