Howard Tiersky is President of Moving Interactive LLC, a boutique consulting firm focused on the development of new products for the digital world.
Howard was recently Vice President, Media & Entertainment in Capgemini's consulting practice where he worked with broadcasting clients such as NBC-Universal, Time Warner and Sprint on digital media strategy and implementation.
Howard led Capgemini's interactive practice for many years and was responsible for numerous customer-facing eCommerce efforts for many top-50 advertisers such as Office Depot and Sears, Merrill Lynch, American Express and Allstate. For example, Howard recently led General Motors’ global digital media strategy for all of their vehicle brands, a project resulting in moving the company into the #1 slot for customer satisfaction online as measured by JD Power and featured in a paper on Online Excellence co-authored with GM and published by AIGA.
Howard speaks regularly at industry conference such as The Future of Television, Digital Hollywood, SigGraph and CES regarding the digital transformation occurring in the media industry.
Howard has extensive experience in using user-centered design and consumer research to drive the creation of successful online products and destinations, and his work has twice been featured in Nielsen-Norman’s annual review of the “Top 10” site for excellence in web usability.
Howard is also on the adjunct faculty of the NYU Film School where he teaches courses on the intersection of television and the Internet. In addition, he produces and distributes several animated webisode series which satire politics and current events under the brand SnideTV (http://Snide.TV).

Moving Interactive focuses on three business areas:
We provide consulting services to media companies on the development of new digital products ranging from immersive broadband experiences to highly utilitarian wireless applications.
We develop short-form entertainment for digital distribution (viral videos) under the brand Snide.TV and others. Recent popular series have included "Paris Hilton Prison Diaries" and "George Bush Job Interviews." Our animated shorts have been viewed well over 2 Million times on the web and featured many times on broadcast television.
We develop new products that enable interactive marketing and social networking. Our newest product, SneezeTrees, is a new toolset to enable consumers to share content via email, and is now in private beta.
