    January 2004December 2004 (1 year )

While working for PsiEngine I was involved in several projects for Allianz (the world's 13th largest company):
    - Along with another colleague, I designed and developed a graphical application for workflow management of an Allianz business unit. Tasks included developing the Windows Forms GUI, the business logic and the underlying SQL Server database tables, views, triggers and stored procedures.
    - I extended ISIS Fax Server, an application that automatically converts emails to faxes, adding multithreaded communications with a dedicated hardware fax server using the standard ITU T.30 fax protocol.
    - I converted and improved an existing web interface for the ISIS Fax Server. The new web interface was developed in ASP.Net with ADO.Net, using strict separation between presentation and business logic. The previous version included ad-hoc SQL statements embedded in the ASP code. In the ASP.Net version, all SQL code was extracted to the database in the form of views and stored procedures.
