I have a life-long fascination with learning, both for myself and in developing others. My background is both Engineering and Psychology, which have both helped me understand complex organisations in some depth. I now apply this to help other organisations be different, and be better. Most of my work is now with organisations, helping them deliver people related change - bearing in mind most change is about changing behaviour not implementing software or new processes.
I am a psychologist by training, but an engineer at heart, so it has to be pragmatic above all. If it dosn't work then mostly I'm not interested. After all its results that matter not how theoretically perfect your method was !
Our books is now out and being translated into 12 languages, its a book on change and leadership, called Re Energizing the Corporation - How Leaders make Change happen. Co author is Dr Jonas Ridderstrale - the author of Funky Busniess and a long time collaborator.
Talent Management and Organisational development in a European environment. Particularly interested in behavioural change in organisations through creating clear visions, linked to engaged people with an execution plan. Simple processes well executed deliver change in my experience. Envision, Engage and then Execute - the basis of our work on leadership.
