My friend Pat is located in Ohio and has been on dialysis for over a year. She is type O and I am type A pos. I was willing to donate my kidney but we don't match. I have always believed that God gave me two healthy kidneys, one to sustain life and one to hold until it is needed for someone else. We are currently on a share waitng list looking for someone with the opposite situation. In the interim, if you know of someone that has type O blood and wants to be a hero, I would love to be connected to them. We all have the opportunity to help someone else through living donations. Perhaps someone in your network has type O blood and desires to save someone's life.
