My work is about having fun. At LEGO, it’s all about playing. We work hard too of course to ensure the continuous play of children. Working on LEGO.com our vision is to be the best site in the world for kids (and the inner kid in all of us).

In my time working on LEGO.com I have been involved in the LEGO web versions of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, Mars Mission, Castle, Agents and the very popular Power Miners. I have also worked with LEGO Factory (Recently re-branded to Design byME) - where users can build and order their own customized LEGO sets. LEGO Factory won the Jury's special award at the 2007 E-Trade awards in Denmark and in 2008 LEGO.com won the Internationalization award also at the Danish E-Trade awards.

I am currently engaged in the corporate sites of lego.com as scrum master including Customer Service, About Us, LEGO Education, Parents, CLUB and PLAY and last but not least Shop@Home - LEGOs online shop where 1000s of people daily order their sets.

As scrum master in the LEGO Digital Development dept., I have a challenging role as driver and motivator for two teams of highly creative and competent designers, developers and testers.

An important part of my work is to communicate project and process milestones and deadlines while considering dependencies and uncertainties to development teams and stakeholders. At the same time I have to demonstrate strong leadership skills throughout all project phases while at the same time adhering to the scrum methodology.

Following the implementation of scrum in the Digital Development dept. of LEGO Digital I have the pleasure and challenge of being scrum master for two hyper-distributed teams each spanning over several locations and time zones. Each team consists of people with different functional roles and cultural backgrounds working on our online shop - Shop@Home and our corporate sites.
