Revenue Accounting:
• Record monthly revenues and accruals, and remit royalties for oil, gas, and plant product sales
• Respond to various royalty owners inquires, Texas General Land Office (GLO) requests, and Minerals Management Service (MMS) audits
• Prepare monthly Production Handling Agreement (PHA) billings to partners through contract analysis
• Calculate and analyze payout and net profit interest status for multiple well properties
Joint Interest Billing & Property Accounting:
• Researched all accounts receivable balances and corrected when necessary to reflect true aged amounts
• Implemented new Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) procedures to facilitate the process of maintaining accurate AFE budgets
• Re-classed operated and non-operated well charges for proper reporting and billing
• Recovered additional insurance claims due to Hurricane Katrina and Rita through catastrophe overhead calculation
• Re-billed field operators' payroll burden rates, resulting increased billable labor costs to partners
