Thomas Aylott—Holistic Digital Fixer
Projects are more than just a job to me. I pour my heart and soul into every character I type and every pixel I push. When I get a project I own it from beginning to end. I do what it takes to make it happen. It Must Be Fixed.
I have my preferences when it comes to languages, frameworks and technology. But I'm not above using something I don't prefer if it works best for the project. The Project Must Be Fixed.
QA is very important to me. If the solution doesn't work, then the problem hasn't been fixed. It Must Be Fixed.
Most client-side developers tend to try and fix their sites in IE6 as an afterthought. I think it's very important to QA and test as you develop to make sure that you catch any potential issues before they become problems. It Must Be Fixed.
On the server-side I've worked with Ruby on Rails, Ruby Rack, Python Django, JSP, .NET, ASP, PHP, CGI and probably more. I prefer Ruby and Javascript.

I'm the guy who's mainly responsible for pushing for the move to Git and Lighthouse. I've helped with some strategic planning, project organization and handled the migration to Git. I also haunt the IRC channel and randomly help people debug insane CSS issues. I'm also the maintainer of the new MooTools 1.2 TextMate Bundle (coming soon)

I'm currently one of the top 10 TextMate bundle contributors. I've created a number of bundles. I've made major upgrades to a number of existing bundles. I created a codecompletion library that's in use in a number of bundles. And I make regular tweaks and updates here and there. And I'm currently the official maintainer of a number of bundles such as CSS and Javascript.

I was one of the two developers behind CrazyEgg.com
I was mainly responsible for client-side development and design implementation. I also built much of the reporting side of things. From Rails controllers and views to models and tests. I was also able to use pure Actionscript AS3 code to implement the design of the Confetti view. See http://crazyegg.com/demo for a demo
