Post-doc researcher & project manager
Bologna Area, Italy
Half researcher and half entrepreneur, split between Florence and London both for work and for love. Born in 1976, I started my career at the University of Florence, where I graduated in 2002 and, while I was working there as research assistant, I obtained a Ph.D. in Informatics Engineering and Multimedia in 2008.
At the moment I am working as post-doc researcher and project manager at the Media Integration and Communication Center, University of Florence. I am also member of the Board of Operations at the Master in Multimedia Content Design, University of Florence. I worked for years as a freelance web professional and I am progressively focusing more on project management than development.
Got married in 2007 with a wonderful wife who lives in London and works as producer for digital advertising.
I am in constant pursuit of skills and education improvement, thus making me comfortable in a stimulating work environment. I would love to attend an executive MBA within 3 years since I feel that I miss an institutional formation in the treated fields of study, but I am still looking for the job that let me pay the tuition.
IT projects production and management. Web development and technical direction for projects in HTML, CSS, AJAX, FLEX, J2EE, PHP.
