I am a full-time mom and freelance writer, a lover of multi-functional gadgets, slayer of ALL appliances proved slow and/or inefficient, with 4 children, 2 cats, 1 super hyper sock-eating chocolate lab...oh, and 2 danged much laundry.

In other words, I make OTHER mothers look good!

This Full House is my parenting blog created in 2003 (a charter member of the BlogHerAds Network and listed as one of the Top 100 Mom Blogs and Alltop.com) and I host the Review Bloggers' Monthly on my shopping blog, This Full House Gone Shoppin', listed on the Top 10 Product Review Mom Blogs on Blogs.com.

I am a columnist for The Imperfect Parent, a writer for the Parent Bloggers Network, and have submitted essays as a contributing editor to BlogHer.org, New Jersey Moms Blog (a Silicon Valley Moms Group blog) and Green Mom Finds.

I am also one of the Parenting Team Advisor Board at Disney's Family.com and featured mom blogger for Wondertime.com.

Through my blog, I enjoy connecting with real families (like,This Full House) across the Internets and finding products that perhaps help to make life a little easier, partnering with brands like Suave, Kraft, General Mills, Glamour Magazine and Johnson & Johnson, as well as participating in promotional work with Nintendo (makers of the Wii) Microsoft (the makers of Xbox 360) and the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) in helping parents learn more about Internet safety.

I am proud to be a native Jersey Girl and a first generation American - my parents immigrated from Hungary in 1956 - along with my twin brother, Steve, and I am also an avid genealogist, who will forever be thankful that my
grandmother taught me how to speak, read and write in Hungarian.

I live with my husband, Garth (not his real name) and our four children (ages 15, 13, 10, & 8) and write in Central New Jersey.
