I am a part-time freelance writer and full-time SAHM (an oxymoron, really, since I find myself running errands in my minivan more than I am, you know, home) and I enjoy writing about the trials and tribulations of raising 4 children, a rambunctious lab and killer dust bunnies.
I have essays published with Nurturing Magazine, wax poetic on my parenting blog, ThisFullHouse.com (a charter member of the BlogHerAds Network, Alltop.com and Top 100 Mom Blogs) and host a review blogger monthly carnival on my review blog, This Full House Reviews, listed on the Top 10 Product Review Mom Blogs on Blogs.com.
I also have this little column over The Imperfect Parent; contribute to the New Jersey Moms Blog and have also submitted essays as a contributing editor to BlogHer.org, Green Mom Finds and Moms Speak Up.
I was also on the Parenting Team Advisor Board at Disney.com, consulted on the launch of Family.com and am a featured mom blogger for Wondertime.com.
This Full House has partnered with brands like Suave and Johnson & Johnson, have enjoyed participating in promotional work with brands like Nintendo (makers of the Wii) Microsoft (the makers of Xbox 360) worked closely with the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) in helping parents learn more about Internet safety and featured as a 2009 "Glambassador" for Glamour Magazine.
A native Jersey Girl, I am proud to be a first generation American - my parents immigrated from Hungary in 1956 - and very proud of my twin brother, who's been in the service since 1982 and full-time Army.
I am also an avid genealogist, who will forever be thankful her grandmother taught her how to speak, read and write in Hungarian.
I live with my husband, Garth (not his real name) and our four children (ages 15, 13, 10, and 7) and write in Central New Jersey.
