I’m a freelance project manager and web consultant in Bristol. I specialise in digital media, IT and environmental projects with a special interest in being creative, sustainable and socially conscious.

Working to spread the word of project management far and wide. My job is training people in how to manage their projects and helping them keep on track. I'm there as part of the Environment Agency's efficiency drive to make stuff happen better.
My 6 month contract involved creating a learning framework for my directorate which stated the need for frequently run, short training workshops for all levels of management.

I did all sorts for this digital media company whislt working here. I managed projects across the company’s three businesses: Delib (e-democracy specialist), Rubber Republic (viral marketing & digital media specialist) and Rubberductions (multi award-winning film production company).
My job covered a great many roles:
* planning, managing and client-handling multiple projects during all stages of development
* cost estimation and ROI for said projects
* heading-up architecture and testing for a variety of projects
* developing process, personnel and infrastructure strategies
* recruiting freelancers and full-time staff
* day-to-day running of the Bristol studio, 10-15 people
* studio resource scheduling
* reporting to company directors for board meetings
* training new staff and graduates
I worked on all sorts of digital media wonders including: flash games, collaborative websites and web applications, animation and cd/dvd build.
