T.C. Cameron’s Summary

I'm proud to have been fortunate enough to have experienced a wide range of professional acheivement as a writer, referee, husband and father.

I'm a graduate of Royal Oak Kimball High School and Eastern Michigan University. I recently authored my first title, Metro Detroit's High School Football Rivalries, due August 25th, 2008 from Arcadia Publishing.

I've been fortunate to referee football, basketball and baseball at both the NCAA and NFHS levels. Through refereeing, I've worked competition in Detroit's Ford Field, Tiger Stadium and Comerica Park, Indiana University's Assembly Hall, Michigan State's Breslin Center, Notre Dame University's Joyce Center, Abner Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, New York and countless colleges and high schools located within the Great Lakes footprint.

Through assignment and freelance journalism, I've covered Michigan-Michigan State and Michigan-Ohio State in football, a 20-strikeout performance by Roger Clemens in 1996 and his bid to win his 300th game in 2003 and seven Indianapolis 500 races. My blog is syndicated within a 27-paper network throughout Michigan, headquartered at The Oakland Press, Pontiac, Michigan.
