    Responsible for overall strategic direction involving mobile directory services. Interaction with wireless carriers, manufacturers and industry partners. Directly managed 50+ people and an additional 100 indirectly. Instrumental in raising $12M Series C funding, and in sustaining the company's partnerships with VeriSign and Coca-Cola.

    Global, non-profit standards organization promoting the use of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) standard for Internet access from mobile devices. Responsibilities included the coordination of global operations staffed by both volunteer and paid individuals, raising the awareness level of WAP in the media and increasing the membership of the organization. During my tenure here I managed a $1M/year PR campaign which yielded vastly improved awareness of WAP through more than 400 media interviews on TV, radio, print and web casts.

Drove growth of WirelessNOW electronic newsletter from startup to 20,000 subscribers in three years through a combination of unique marketing tactics, media exposure and aggressive sales to major corporations. Developed all branding, marketing and distribution strategies.
