Director at Ekklesia
Exeter, United Kingdom
I am a writer, consultant, researcher, theologian, community developer and trainer / adult educator with nearly 30 years worth of professional experience.
I aim to help people think through and implement person-centred and (where appropriate) theologically-grounded approaches to organisation in a complex, plural and ambiguous world.
I am working on new approaches to religion in public life - beyond those based simply on mutual antagonisms or the preservation of institutional interests.
I also assist those with similar commitments to social justice and peacemaking who want to make waves in the media, but with integrity and thoughtfulness.
I offer work consultancy and personal coaching to individuals seeking greater connectedness and effectiveness in their professional, personal and recreational lives.
Organisational development, designing workshops and seminars, PR, media relations, writing and editing, adult education and training, theology and philosophy, negotiation skills, vision building, policy development, work consultancy to individuals and organisations, group work skills, coaching, political and social analysis, dialogue skills.

A think-tank and news briefing service on religion and public life, exploring fresh perspectives, critical issues and new constructive possibilities of engagement between Christians and others (including those of other faith and secular / humanist perspective) in the arena of civil society, politics and economy. Ekklesia is well recognised in the media, education, religion and research sectors. We are pioneering a 'post-Christendom' analysis of the situation in Britain, Europe and beyond. http://www.ekklesia.co.uk

Fed up with overweening corporate consultancy? My work is based on collaborative and interpersonal learning, heuristic methodologies, incremental improvement rather than overambitious 're-engineering', and (if this is appropriate to you) a theologically shaped approach. I have both experience and a post-graduate qualification in consulting to third sector and church-related organisations and individuals. I also bring substantial training, media and PR skills. I work on my own, with associates, and through Ekklesia Services - http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/services
