I have a first-class honours degree in Web and eBusiness Computing and over ten years experience in the digital industry.

- Certified Scrum Product Owner.
- Keynote speaker at 2014 Digital PM Summit in Texas.
- Published several times by Smashing Magazine.
- Published in the Gower Handbook of People in Project Management.
- Published in 2x Smashing Magazine eBooks.
- Co-hosted the 2013 Digital Project Management Workshop,
- Speaker at Happy Cog's 2013 DPM Summit in Philadelphia.
- Speaker at DPM:UK14 alongside Paul Boag and Brett Harned.

I can also be found at, a blog dedicated to the topic of digital project management. So how I did I get here...

Although a little short for a Stormtrooper, I started in a front-end development role at TBS for two years, working for clients such as Nokia, PGA and Pipex. After being appointed Nokia’s key user for UK and Ireland, I moved into digital project management with team and agency management responsibilities, while delivering projects and managing accounts for clients for a further two years.

I spent the next two years working at Rawnet, an award winning digital agency, as their Producer. My remit was to take the agency’s digital project management processes to the next level while delivering digital projects and managing accounts for clients such as BBC, BaxterStorey, HHIC, Go Ape and Jordan Publishing.

For a year I then worked as a Technology Analyst for the number one agency in the South of England, Volume. I worked with teams to make sure web projects were delivered smoothly for clients such as Dell, Oracle and Zebra.

I currently work at Global Personals. After spending two years as a Digital Project Manager, I’m now the Development Team Manager. My responsibilities include: line management of all developers, assisting the CTO in managing the company’s platforms, supporting the direction of projects, heading up and co-ordinating the team managers and representing the department at senior level.

Volunteer Experience & Causes

Animal Welfare

Believe it or not my actual RSPCA Volunteer title is "Cat Cuddler"

I've always loved *all animals, with a special affection for cats, thus I volunteer time to my local RSPCA branch and spend time with cats that haven't had the best of lives but are now safe and awaiting to be re-homed.

Duties include ensuring the cats are fed, have water etc. but the primary role is to get the cats comfortable with human contact again after their bad experiences.

*Note: When I say "all animals", well, spiders, snakes and things like that... they can all do one.
