GNS Science is a Crown Research Institute (CRI) wholly owned by the New Zealand Government. The Geonet project, financed by EQC (Earthquake Commission) provides real-time monitoring and data collection for rapid response and research into earthquake, volcano, landslide and tsunami hazards. My job is to upgrade the content management process of the GeoNet website, the design, layout and usability of the website and manage all aspects of electronic documentation systems pertaining to the project.
