Theresa Feathers’s Summary

Theresa is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and holds a first class BA (Hons) in Industrial Relations and Social Psychology from the University of Kent in Canterbury, and an MSc in Occupational Psychology (with Distinction) from Goldsmith’s College, University of London.

Theresa began her Human Resources career in a large firm of solicitors before joining the NHS in 1982. During her years in the NHS she held both generalist and specialist roles at regional and local levels, with a particular leaning towards employee relations practice, reward strategy and personnel policy development. She left NHS employment in 1993 to establish herself independently but has continued to work, on a consultancy and project basis, with NHS organisations around Kent, Sussex, Essex and London, as well as with various other public, private sector and voluntary organisations.

In addition to her consultancy work with organisations, she is also a part-time Teaching Fellow at University of Kent; she is involved with the University’s undergraduate, DMS and MBA programmes, specialising in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations and Organisational Psychology.

Theresa holds the British Psychological Society’s Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing at Levels A and B. She is also a qualified MBTI and AMSP Practitioner, and is a Certified NLP Master Business Practitioner and Timeline Coach. Theresa holds the Academy of Coaching’s Certificate in Performance Coaching and is now taking their Advanced Diploma in Coaching.
