Themis Chapsis’s Summary

Themistoklis Chapsis was born 1975, in Athens, Greece. Studied Graphic Design at AKTO Art & Design School. He is a graphic and web designer, Adobe Certified Expert InDesign CS3, and above all he enjoy creating corporate identities, brochures and books. From 2008 he works as a freelance professional for Adobe at the Greek region.

After some years of free-lancing he founded PointOfDesign [2003], a small and flexible firm in Athens - which is specialized in printed communication - working till today as project manager.

During 2002, co-founded the Visual Communication Designers Club, an online community about design, education, and software.

After some years of experience on digital design and studying graphic arts technology, he offer his services as a trainer and dtp consultant either to individuals professionals or companies. From 2003 has been teaching digital design at Akto, Art & Design College.

He is editor at Cmyk and Adobe Magazine (both Greek editions) and from 2007 he is a Print Media Education Consultant at Anodos sa - Adobe Authorized Distributor. Has been Adobe beta tester and participated at design conferences and software presentations, as speaker/presenter.

Themistoklis has been distinguished 4 times, at the Hellenic Graphic Design & Illustration Awards [ebge] for book design and book illustration and had the honor to participate himself as a judge at the 2006 awards.

When not working, he still enjoys a peaceful life with his wife, Aggeliki.
