Anthony Bouvier's Summary

Experienced application developer, project manager and all around geek-of-all-trades. Interested in all aspects of "the internets" and software in general, particularly mobile-centric languages and platforms at the moment.

Web App Development, SEO, Linux, Perl, PHP, Flex/AS3, C++, Objective-C, AJAX, Software project management, LAMP system administration, and too many to note, really. If it is a modern computer language, I've probably written something in it. If I'm not learning, I'm not happy.

Currently working with several cross-platform mobile app platforms/languages such as Cordova, Corona, Trigger.io and others. Even though my heart is really in the LAMP stack, I have worked in the Microsoft arena and enjoy working with SharePoint 2013, particular app building and the app catalog system.

Anthony Bouvier's Experience

Marketing Technical Lead

Atria Senior Living

Privately Held; 10,001+ employees; Hospital & Health Care industry

May 2014Present (3 months)

As technology evolves and the way we communicate becomes more one-to-one, the worlds of marketing and solution development continues to blur. I am the bridge between the marketing department and information services.

I work from the 30,000 foot view with project planning, brainstorming, wireframing and research. I'm also in the trenches on the implementation level with prototyping apps, UI / UX development, and full stack programming.

Technical Lead, Creative Services

Yum! Brands

Public Company; 10,001+ employees; YUM; Restaurants industry

April 2013May 2014 (1 year 2 months)

I bring my experience as a geek of all trades to every aspect of interactive projects: front-end development, responsive websites, mobile apps, databases, dashboards, analytics and social media apps.

I assist the Account Managers in Creative Services on estimates, strategy, wireframes, site planning and client meetings. I'm a Geek-to-English translator and vice versa, working between clients, account team and my fellow developers to make sure all aspects of the projects are understood and executed.

Everyone on my team loves to learn and I do my best to assist in that endeavor. Sharing resources, answering programming questions, code review and walk-throughs, giving advice and suggesting learning paths.

Notable projects:

2014 KFC.com consumer website: Front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as well as back-end development with ASP, PHP and SQL. In particular, a dynamic gallery for their How Do You KFC program, and integration with their various social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine).

2014 Human Resources Portal: Architecture planning and consulting, content migration, IBM Websphere/WCM content management, and portlet development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Touchscreen interactive video display: With no software available to control this video set up, I developed the software from scratch to display an interactive map and hi-res videos with Adobe AIR, three 46" 1080p displays, and AS3/MXML/Flex.

Supplier Diversity Portal: All front-end and back-end development for this Yum! Brands initiative to build a portal to attract and maintain profiles for diverse suppliers. ASP, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
